I replaced the SSD in my iMac but later found that my Wi-Fi/Bluetooth daughter card is probably not connected securely as it is recognized but won't turn on. From time to time I see it scanning networks, but then it goes away. Do I want to open the display again? no So I googled the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo adapter, read the reviews and prayed that this adapter would work. I can't find any other dual function USB adapters for Mac. Other reviewers are right; This software predates modern System Integrity Protection and cannot be installed. The adapter will NOT work automatically after a reboot. I tried disabling System Integrity Protection on a whim, but that didn't work. For Linux, there is an installer on Github, but instructions are required. no It's not worth it. I think I'll stick with ethernet and a standard mouse. I already miss my magic mouse.
