Fits snugly in my 16 gallon 2n1 Ridgid vacuum
The rubber grommet on the open end was quite small and I had to have a good chat with it to get it in place - a A small soap dish made installation easier. The bottom end (where the filter is secured with a plastic plate/nut) is covered with a flexible rubber plate with a hole in the center for a threaded stem. Nothing I've seen before for VF4000 filters (or similar shop vacuum with model number 90328/90328-00) that have two open ends, but it works.
