Review on 🚪 ECCPP Liftgate and Window Glass Supports Struts for Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005-2008 - Set of 2 by Ronny Prather

My original jeep kit Rear door sunroof pillars have quick release ball joint sleeve ends and to be clear the lift glass pillars in this 'kit' have these correct fittings but the tailgate sunroof pillars in this kit did NOT equipped with OEM hubs. The pictures don't really show what you need to see and I assumed the cleats were just removable. These liftgate struts required the original ball joint struts to be removed and then struts installed with hex bolts attached. You can't squeeze the strut at all to line up the holes, and you can't open the tailgate hatch far enough to line it up. Disappointing and dangerous. I bought this kit thinking Murphy's Law would cause the glass lift rods to fail shortly after replacing the liftgate sunroof, but I really only needed the liftgate supports at the moment. Thinking I would save money I ended up ordering this kit. I ended up spending twice what I had to order the correct part for the overhead gate. Take my advice, save your money if your tailgate pillars fail, order these stands separately.
