Review on High-Quality Alternator Replacement for Mazda Miata L4 (90-93) - Premier Gear PG-13227 by Andrew Vogel

This is a Revain tutorial! I needed a new alternator Friday night, I checked multiple sources on Saturday morning. Found this along with 15 reviews, all positive. The price seemed outrageously low and the main fee is not charged! Convinced by the reviews, I ordered it Saturday morning, received it Sunday afternoon, installed it Tuesday evening and it works fine! Installation was a little tricky, rather the old one (especially the old plugs that had to be salvaged) had to be pulled out of the car. After that, installation was easy and it worked fine. I checked for loose screws as the first review told me. I am very happy with my purchase and overall happy with Revain! UPDATED 10/07/19. Apparently this is crap. Installed in the car in early August, by the end of September, the generator "jumped", which is why the V-belt whistled. Tensioning the V-belt helped, but the deterioration continued. Now a complete failure and past the return time. Don't buy this crap. UPDATED 11/15/19. My apologies to the manufacturer as I felt the part failed prematurely. The suspension that maintains belt tension failed and the belt did not slip. After the voltage was repaired, the generator worked perfectly!
