Here comes Wifi-Texas with another weird niche device to save me.
I needed to plug my Raspberry Pi into the end of an Ethernet cable, there were no outlets nearby, and my switch needed something that would work properly with 802.3af. That is the answer. Oh god, that's the answer. If I ever met a person in Wifi-Texas who decided to make this a thing, I'd give them a long, awkward hug. You never know you need it until you need it.
