The long reach is perfect. It is only meant to cut green growth, max. 1/4 " diameter.
Our neighbor's tall hedge sends vines over to our side. The vines come over, mostly horizontally, at a 9 ft. high level. The Long-Reach Bypass Pruner has proved to be the perfect tool to cut those vines. I cut them and mentioned it to our neighbor. He asked to borrow the pruner and is now taking care of the vines. Yeah, he has the pruner, but I now have no problem with the vines.I do emphasize that the pruner is meant for green growth, 1/4" max. diameter. It won't cut hard, dry, brown growth.It was the right tool for the vine problem. Glad I bought it.
