Review on πŸ”‡ Insulation Soundproof Weather Stripping Stopper by Jonathan Brendemuehl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't imagine how anyone could not use this properly

I'm shocked by some of the other reviews but this item is great! It comes with nails to reinforce the seal but sticks without. I still can't stick them in the door in my apartment, so that was good news for me. Measure seven times, cut once - it's that simple. Once you're the right size, level it so you can still open the door without friction - it doesn't have to be very much, just make sure there's some space is. Now DO NOT tear off all the paper from the sticky side and then stick it on. that would be horrible. Instead, straighten it and fold it back about 4 inches at a time and slide it into place. I found 4" to be an adequate measurement to ensure I didn't knock the strip off the guide without locking it - at only 4" this is an easy fix. To be honest, when I saw the nails I expected them to fall off (just like the baseboards in my apartment, but that's another story). I was pleasantly surprised to find how well it actually holds up, I didn't have to adjust it or glue it or anything and it does a great job of keeping drafts and light out of the hallway!

  • Weatherproof
Cons
