Works well - HVAC

Worked well. It is very durable. It comes in a spool but is a lot stronger than you might think. We used it on the interior door to the basement. The door is too short because we had a new floor. Our son has two very small ferrets and they can spread out and crawl under the door when they are visiting upstairs. They could walk through every block we tried. . (They live downstairs in his break room, but they won't let him into the unfinished part of the basement because that's where they eatโ€ฆ

I can't imagine how anyone could not use this properly

I'm shocked by some of the other reviews but this item is great! It comes with nails to reinforce the seal but sticks without. I still can't stick them in the door in my apartment, so that was good news for me. Measure seven times, cut once - it's that simple. Once you're the right size, level it so you can still open the door without friction - it doesn't have to be very much, just make sure there's some space is. Now DO NOT tear off all the paper from the sticky side and then stick it onโ€ฆ

Probably works somewhere. but not in a nice room or in contact with paint/laminate

This application plug is difficult to install precisely and installation can easily fail. There are no instructions on the packaging, and one would assume it's just peel and paste. no The first pitfall is making sure you measure and cut the length of the strip VERY accurately. If you cut even a slightly straight line, the finished project will look awful at the cut end. The second danger is that you have a chance of stinging this thing.
