I needed this tape for the front door steps. Since we're in the great Northwest, it rains a lot, which basically makes wooden stairs a death trap. Duct tape comes to the rescue, a great alternative to sanding the steps (which I was planning on doing until I saw this duct tape). I applied them in the fall when the wood was still wet after three days in the sun. But I wanted it applied before the season got worse. After the first day of rain they rose a bit, but the general pull kept them on the board. I'm sure if the wood hadn't been damp when first fitted there would be no problem moving them now. I am still very satisfied and bought a second roll in advance to apply it properly. I also wanted to mention that this company has great tips on using this tape which was very helpful.
