Poor fit and attachment
The cover assembly was deformed. The cap molding had a serious defect (it was split, not fully formed). Incorrect neck size - hitting the inside of the tank making the lid difficult to close and seal. Needs to be trimmed and bent slightly to avoid a central mounting hole. Mounting brackets will only work if the pipe is at least 2 inches long or you will need to shorten the U-bolts. There are no installation instructions for this. Mine needs a replacement cover to fix it if the seller takes care of it.
