It's never a good day when your trolling motor stalls out on the water at 8am. Ordered this connector from a boat and had it delivered and installed by the following weekend. Installation was easy. I had to fit a base plate as my old fork was round and the battery box on the back is more of an oval shape. I really like the cable connection points, fair warning that the connector is designed to have a little "play" in the pins. I assume this is done to connect the two parts more smoothly. I used dielectric grease on the rear connection point and on the connectors and plugs to keep corrosion to a minimum. The plug was about a month old and the quality was excellent. Fast turn on, no play, and my trolling motor is more powerful (full power goes to the motor compared to an old worn out plug)
