Review on 🖥️ Enhanced Arduino Compatible Serial LCD Module - 20x4 Blue with White Backlight by Kevin Williams

This LCD display with character is a good display for what you pay. However, please note that you are ordering a component and not a finished retail product. As another reviewer mentioned, if you've worked with serial LCDs or even parallel LCDs you can have this one up and running in minutes. Although it has a slightly different instruction set than Sparkfun's serial LCDs, they use the same instruction set as New Haven displays, of which there are many classes for different microcontrollers. Supplied as a serial display, there are two jumpers on the back of the board that you can solder to set the display to use I2C or SPI. I uploaded an image to the gallery with the jumper area highlighted. With this flexibility built in (albeit without daughter boards), this LCD is suitable for many projects. I have a problem with the display: when a character flashes, the character directly below it also flashes a little. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly full text is rendered, even at the default 9600 bps baud rate.
