Useful but not impressive
From a distance this looks like a cool steampunk bottle opener. Up close it is roughly cast and roughly machined. You can actually use it to open wine bottles, but the bottom wheel (which pulls the screw out) is VERY difficult to turn. The solution is to turn the top wheel (the one that lowers the corkscrew) all the way down - this will rotate the cork a bit to loosen it, but also the tip of the screw past the bottom of the cork and into yours Squeeze wine bottle about half an inch.
