Great parts, less than $$

Body Shop asked for $950 to replace the front lower control arms on an older car with over 220,000 miles. The car is so old it's getting to the point where you need to justify a repair. It works great and is in good condition, but it's not worth investing close to a thousand dollars on a car that might only cost a few thousand. So I bought this kit, watched some YouTube videos and assembled the forearms myself for a small price. There are a lot of parts in the kit, we just used the forearms and saved the rest in case parts break in the future. Removing the old lower control arms was fairly easy and straightforward. Getting the new LCA back was a little tricky. The passenger side took about 45 minutes and I wondered if he would ever get in, but in the end he got in easily, tightened the bolts and put the wheel back on. When we drove to the driver's side, the part went in on the first try. We took the car back to our mechanic to have the wheel alignment checked and now the car drives great. Although these parts cost significantly less than what you can find at your local auto parts store, they are very strong and durable. The metal/rubber grommets were thick and strong. Overall very happy with this purchase.
