Great for our espresso machine!
This filter connects to our kitchen sink's cold water supply. In this way, all water used for cooking, coffee machines or drinking is filtered. We think the filter works great and we change it about every six months. I prefer this version of the "2CB5" filters to the "2CB5-S" or "2CB5-K" versions, which also soften the water. Here in Seattle city water is already very soft and any further softening will damage the taste of the coffee for our espresso machine.
