I use these on many of my cutting boards as they are unobtrusive, hold up well and keep my boards 1/16 inch from the table. They levitate my cutting boards right off the table and provide enough clearance to make picking up the board easier and they prevent my boards from sticking to a wet table. I can also turn the boards over and use that underside and the rubber feet don't interfere with the cutout on that side. When I want to move them to the opposite side, they leave a tiny mark on the side they were on and I can easily fill in the small screw hole they leave. Pre-drilling the mounting hole is a wise choice. Have fun
