First, the quality is pretty good. It's well done. Unfortunately, a convex mirror takes the adage "Things in a mirror are closer than they appear" to a ridiculous extreme. This certainly gives you a wide field of view, but it's difficult to see vehicles until they're directly behind you. Anything more than about 15 feet behind you will show up as VERY small. And because the stem (again, very well made) is long, the mirror (also well made) bounces around so much that it's almost impossible to see the tiny cars. We need to find some kind of flat mirror. :-(
