The glasses are a decent weight - unlike some that are this light you will feel it with every sip. The size is good. Smaller than the typical giant acrylic wine glasses (and my typical crystal wine glasses) which can finish a bottle of wine in 3 glasses. I bought them after a guest knocked over a wine glass on my covered porch. It's bad enough losing a drop of wine, but I have a small dog and wanted to avoid a repeat of the incident (probably caused by me). the wine lasts longer (laughs - that last part probably won't happen). As for stacking, they stack great. I, like many others, don't have much space between shelves so I can only put 2. But folks, they stack up too - or let me say, better than most wine glasses - okay? These glasses do what they are supposed to do. should - I'm happy.
