Right out the box, I realize the handles were made of plastic. That made me sad that I was contributing to more plastic waste. So I decided I would try to wash and reuse as many brushes as I could.First brush out the box, I had one strand of brush hair come out, I did purposely run my fingers through the brush to test if any hairs came out. But I didn't pull or tug hard or anything. That was the 2nd disappointment.But, that was the only brush that had a strand come out. I've used 3 brushes so far. . . . So far so good. I guess.I might do an Update later, on how long I can reuse one brush.
