I would give it 5 stars if there was a way to turn down the volume of the beeps. I live in an apartment building and can't get that loud. (Nevertheless, if you're a little forgiving, you can fix this by hot-gluing the hole on the speaker). Otherwise, I am very satisfied. The lock is just as easy to change as any other lock and I love that it relocks the door in 3 seconds. I'm going to have roommates and I need something to make sure nobody forgets to lock the door. I can also set a code for each tenant and easily change it when someone moves out/moves in. *** Please note that this model comes with a key (instead of the other model which comes with a battery box) so if you need to open it and the battery is dead or something went wrong with the codes. You can just use the key (hidden in a locked vault in this case). I bought batteries for our interior doors as they can easily be stored in the shared kitchen. and bonus. The room code can be set to the same individual tenant code as the main door code. or an abbreviated version if you prefer. Something to note, there are 8 normal codes. and they must start with 1,2,3 etc. Then there is the master code, which must start with 0. 9 is reserved for setting a "passthrough" code that can be turned on or off, allowing any singles code to be used. Press the button to open the door. for example during a party or a move or something else. Another pretty cool thing is that you can press the first digit of your code, then any number of digits, then finish with your code and it will open. This is handy if someone who isn't close to you is standing next to you while you enter the code. Pressing the first wrong digits quickly ensures they don't remember the code you entered.
