Review on 🐦 20-Pound Kaytee Black Oil Sunflower Bird Food for Wild Birds by Crystal Lawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The birds love it! (That counts)

Looks good. The birds love it! I've seen at least a dozen different bird species eat these sunflower seeds. There is a small amount of dirt in the bag (pieces of wood and pebbles) but that is not a problem for the birds or for me. Buying a large bag of sunflower seeds of any brand is a must. No potential harm to them. Birds simply take the pieces out of the feeder themselves. If you have never eaten seeds, the seeds are in the shell. Like humans, birds open the shell, eat the seed, and then discard the shell. If your feeder isn't designed to catch dirt, you may end up with a little mess on the floor below. If your feeder is over a porch, deck, sidewalk, etc., you probably need to sweep away the barnacles. Some people seem to give lower ratings for these reasons, but that's how it is.
