Good Design for Wood Protection

We chose this profile design because it has a heavier base that protects the pre-drilled hole much better than others. A little more metal at the base also helps with installation. We are not professional installers; We are just homeowners doing it ourselves. We watch a video to learn how to build a railing. Guards are required even if you run the cable in a straight line. Protectors also improve the appearance of railings and make them more durable. We're glad we ordered them; they are everything they promise to be; They look good, have the right angle and are solid.

Pros

🏠Design: 30 degree beveled guard sleeve design can replace the combination of straight sleeves + 30 degree beveled washer to create a cable railing system kit that covers the hole perfectly. Use these cable glands to neatly close off drilled holes in intermediate corner posts on stairs and ramps.
