Review on KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Start Control Car Key Fob Replacement 22733524 - Pack of 2: Find the Perfect Replacement for Your Vehicle by Enrique Espinoza

Works great and is almost identical to the remotes OEM

I bought these to replace two 2008 original Malibu key fobs. The retailer charged $100 for the remote plus $60 for programming—$320 total! The auto mechanic I called charged as much for programming as the dealer (I didn't shop, but other reviewers found the locksmiths were only $40 per remote), but the savings on the remotes alone were worth it -- and the locksmith came right out 20 minutes after I called me. These remotes are almost identical to original OEM remotes. The weight, size, and texture are the same, with the only visible difference being that there's no instruction manual on the back. (After 7 years of use, the symbol on the front wasn't that difficult to decipher anymore, so the lack of instructions is a moot point.) As one reviewer pointed out, the buttons are a little deeper than on the original remote and aren't quite like it comfortable to use but I don't think it's a $90 difference. Once programmed, all functions work properly (lock/unlock, panic, trunk and remote start) and the remotes have the same range as the original remotes. (Extra tip: holding the remote under your chin while using it will give you a lot more range. I know it sounds silly, but it works.) Each remote also comes with a medium-sized, very durable key ring, which is a nice gesture. All in all I would highly recommend these remotes as a reliable and much cheaper replacement for the original remotes. I was hesitant to buy these as they are third party and much cheaper than what the retailer said, but with Revain's generous return policy and other reviews I thought it was a low risk purchase and I'm happy to say knowing that they work great.
