Less than two days after I put it on my cat I saw him shuffling around on the kitchen floor like he was chasing something. I looked, expecting to see something I might accidentally and deeply drop, and lo and behold I found the bell off his new collar! He tried to play with it and I guess it would end up in his mouth sooner or later. He's a big cat now so I don't necessarily see him choking, but for kittens it could be a safety hazard. I managed to reattach the bell to his collar and clamped it down so it wouldn't fall off again. The reason I got this collar was the bell so I could hear Mr Sneaky jumping around the house so I'm glad it was only the bracket that broke and not the bell itself.
