I chose 80 plus gold 1300w for my PC. but most of this review applies to any evga power supply, not just this one. If you are a gamer, install 2 top graphics cards! maybe even say you've overclocked your CPU, even if you haven't. In the construction industry we like to use the term future-proof. Well, nothing is more forward-thinking than this with an outstanding 10-year guarantee backed by 1000% excellent customer support. For example, I have 1300 watts. I could use 1000 watts for my setup and be more than ok. But what if in five years the latest processor needs more juice and therefore cripples the latest graphics cards? Ok, I need to add a new PSU to my build. so I have extra power for who knows what. Good guarantee is great! 10 years is better than cars. better than anything I've ever seen. Make sure yours is included. All models are very reasonably priced. meter your work and meter it like an ad. Truly a gold-rated power supply, not sticker junk: EVGA does a great job here. You can throw it down the stairs and it won't even get dented. So it doesn't matter who you buy it from your safe from.
