Review on Vizio Universal Remote Control VIZIO by Jonathan Abreu

In the past I have lost all kinds of remotes and replaced them with universal remotes etc. and of all the replacements, this went smoothly. Not sure if this is an imported product or not but I would buy again based on the specs. I bought it for the Vizio D55x-G1 and while I didn't try it right away, I hear it works right out of the box. In my case, I went through the type selection process before trying it on TV. I used the first available code for Vizio SmartCast and everything worked as advertised. The only problem was the location of the battery access. The man doesn't, and I mean don't get frustrated trying to figure out how to put batteries in him. Just slide the edge as described in the attached instructions and everything is fine. Don't be Homer Simpson and follow the instructions. I've read other reviews that said they didn't come with instructions for their device and if that's the case with yours, just search the web.
