Not as powerful as advertised

Description says 100 watts but produces the same amount of heat as my 40 watt ceramic heat lamp, just enough power for small terrariums or terrariums not needed in the desert like the heat. It's small size makes it perfect for small tanks, I'm just really disappointed that it doesn't deliver as much heat as it should.
