recommend using these knives only on ceramic plates and on cutting boards. My mistake happened when serving grilled steaks on our plastic picnic plates and realizing these knives leave scratches permanently in the surface of the plates with very minimal pressure applied. They have sliced every type of meat I’ve thrown at them like butter. As a parent I’m always hyper-vigilant when we are using these at the table to make sure my daughter never gets near one. They are spooky sharp and have remained so with no sharpening. They are full tang with beautifully designed handles. These knives will be a fixture in my kitchen on steak nights for years to come.
