Review on πŸ” Grip-On 111-10 Curved Jaw Locking Pliers: Superior Grip for Versatile Applications by Mark Gilbert

Not worth the extra money.

I am very disappointed in this product. After doing a little research and giving up on the real Vise Grip brand (because people said they weren't well made anymore), I spent the extra money and bought the Grip-On brand. I've only used them once (I had a snapped screw I was trying to get out of a piece of wood) and the Grip-On let me down. The teeth of the tongs appear to be made of soft metal, and within seconds they were twisted and chewed. I then turned to the Channellock pliers, which worked well and looked brand new when I was done. This product is not worth the extra money you would pay for a private label as they are of just as poor quality. I am currently looking for a new affordable brand of quality gripping pliers to replace them. Any suggestions?

Pros
  • THREAD SCREW: for easy changing of jaw size
Cons
  • Slightly torn
