Review on 🔧 GM Genuine Parts Liftgate Release Switch - 22869802 by Michael Cleveland

2010 Equinox The tailgate fell apart, the touchpad dry rotted and fell off. I bought it along with the plastic piece that snaps into the hatch and holds this switch, part number 22864934. After removing a torx head screw from the tailgate, I removed the two halves of the plastic panels from the hatch door and removed some 10mm. Nuts off the chrome piece that holds the switch in place. I was able to unplug the factory switch, plug in this new one, and reassemble. 15 minutes replaced and it works again.
