I'm not as tech savvy or specs as most people, but I know I wanted to buy a larger screen monitor since I'm currently working from home. Navigating between different screens on a laptop is usually a hassle, and this monitor makes it easy. Its crisp quality makes it easy to write reports etc. I don't like gaming so I can't comment on its use. I can tell you exactly what kind of monitor you need for your daily work from home. The only thing I don't like is the flimsy stand this monitor sits on.
