The cabinet door mounting jig is well made and solid but is extremely slow to adjust requiring a deliberate, very patient methodical technique or it will jam. Perhaps my unit was on the tight side of tolerances but to move the door support bar, in one hand, you need to hold the bar perfectly straight and assist the movement or the screw will jam as the bar racks and binds in the track. Since it's a fine thread jackscrew in aluminum, this would be VERY easy to strip out if I tried to force it.Perhaps my unit has a tolerance stacking issue but it takes a VERY long time to adjust it, to the point where I'd be disinclined to use it frequently unless I was doing a full kitchen's worth of door installation and set it once.To address this, I will fully disassemble the unit and try lubricating the track with beeswax to see if that makes a difference. Perhaps a bit of fine sanding or filing would help but the anodizing may be pretty stout.My recommendation to the manufacturer is to use a coarser Acme threaded jackscrew to avoid the danger of stripping the threads and have the assemblers fully run them in and out to check for racking and binding before shipping.Note, no instruction sheet was provided with my jig in any language. It came in a plain brown box with nothing other than a small label on the outside of the box.
