After spending more than most other converters I've looked at I fired up my expensive hair dryer. It glowed orange and smoked. The label on the device has a very small text size and only one of all the ports on this device also works for voltage conversion making it appear like everything is connected. I bought a few months before the trip so couldn't remember what the advert said and with previous converters, every plug position on the converter itself has always worked. It was a huge disappointment, dangerous and terrible value to buy a whole expansion thing and just convert one device to have other ports fry your electronics. If I wanted a plug and multiple adapters, I could buy multiple adapters for a lot less. Of course, the return window there is now closed. Not that I can try it before the trip. Don't waste your money on this product! I will never buy this product again and would happily return it.
