These two tone dark brown boots were meant to be thrown away, so they went perfectly with my first shoe painting experiment. Now they can be one of my favorites. In total I applied 5 coats on a primer. The straps were champagne for contrast. The two colors are very similar, although the champagne has a hint of shimmer. Playing in the Sand is a very plain/neutral yellow-beige. If only they would feel good! The paint is very easy to use and easy to fix mistakes. You get very good coverage just by putting some color on the brush and it glides on very smoothly.
