So far I have installed two of them. One in my basement to keep the kids out of the boiler room. One in the main bathroom so our daughter doesn't lock us in all the time! Pretty easy to follow guide. Whatever you do, unless you are on the side of the door that always opens, DO NOT close the door halfway through installation to see if the deadbolt goes into the lock bar. I almost had to cut out my door before I realized I could insert another door's handle into the hole to turn the mechanism. I haven't tried changing the code yet, so I don't recommend it for that. I'm a bit sensitive. When you clean the keypad it will light up and you will have to wait about 10 seconds before you can enter your code. Overall I am very satisfied, especially for the price. The other options are just more than I'm willing to spend. I had to replace the batteries once with one that is 9 months old. It's not difficult. Make sure you put the electronic module that opens the lock from the outside in a place you can remember :)
