I use them to punch holes in flattened bottle caps and then use another pair of pliers to insert a split ring into the bottle cap chain. You are perfect for this job. Many Thanks. They're not cheap, but they seem pretty strong in the hand. I love these pliers. Included was an interchangeable stamp which is very nice. You can also get more replacements if needed, which is better than buying new pliers when the punch tip wears out. Good idea from the supplier. :) Tip: Sometimes the perforated part is still hanging, but I remove it with my fingernail without any problems. Also, I die cut from the back of the lid for better results. Make sure the second hole below is properly aligned if you want to place the amulet on the other end of the pendant blank (bottle cap).
