This is a very nice, *really* sharp knife that I've enjoyed using. I prefer Santoku knives, and this reminds one me very much of my oft-used Calphalon Santoku, but sharper.The only issue I have with this is where the handle encases the blade. The top steel part is actually a little jagged and sharp (see photo). I'm not sure if it's just mine or if this is a recurring issue from the manufacturing process. Otherwise, it's a very heavy, solid, good-quality knife; I just have to be careful not to cut myself on the top OR the bottom.
