Review on Taulman3D T Glase 1.75mm Printing Filament: Premium Additive Manufacturing Product by Johnny Pigao

My favorite date thread.

Great product but takes a lot of effort to print properly. I use a 0.4mm extrusion nozzle (which Taulman doesn't recommend, bigger is better/easier) because I needed to print very small objects. My best settings were as follows: bed temperature 45°C, something hot and the plastic curling off the bed. Hot end temp = 222'C, when it gets colder it struggles; something hot, it works like pea soup. First layer height 0.3mm, then anything you like from 0.1mm to 0.4mm worked for me with no issues. Print speed 45mm/s, retract 45mm/s at 4.5mm. The biggest problem is holding on to the bed, so make sure you use a raft or ledge and make it big enough. I set it to 28mm for better adhesion, especially when it's a tall object. That keeps him on the bed. The material is printed on one wall and is very transparent, otherwise it is slightly transparent. Much stronger than PLA and more flexible. Hope that helps!

Pros
  • Translucent filament means your 3D prints will look great. While T-Glase's high durability makes it a worldwide favorite, the beautiful 3D prints it produces are also a customer favorite.
Cons
  • Doubtful
