Poor copy of the original part. I am an ASE certified technician. When my 4Runner had code P0456, I not only assumed it was the gas cap, I ordered a different one, I checked the EVAP system with vacuum and smoke, and physically checked every inch of the hose and both. Solenoids in the system before you just drop the gas cap on it. With this gas cap on the 4Runner, I got codes P0441 and P0455 instead. Checking the gas cap with a gas cap tester shows it passes the pressure test, but when a vacuum is drawn it leaks. I ordered an original cover from a Toyota dealer to replace it. Stay away from this case.
