Tailgates must have been hot packed. Take a heat gun, heat and leave open until cool. Buy another brand if you expect them to close easily! The box they were shipped in was 5 inches. I couldn't believe they were all in the same box. The back doors were completely broken. It was too expensive to put up with such an installation.
