It's very pretty and I love having it on the table next to me. My review can generally relate to the use of balls of yarn as I have never used any other bowls. I don't think it works any better than my plastic snap on jars, which work whether I've rolled the cake or not, but I like the way it looks. I still have to pull up a lot of yarn every few stitches because it doesn't always come out smooth; However, it looks like a piece of beautiful stoneware and I enjoy looking at it and keeping it close. I would buy again and think they are just as beautiful as the wooden ones.
