Review on 🏮 Safavieh Brentwood BNT865B Medallion Distressed Rug - Non-Shedding, 3'x5', Cream/Grey for Living Room & Bedroom Accent by Deb Wilkes

So this rug is very pretty and which I prefer for the looks BUT it is very subtle AND the CHEMICAL smell that comes from it is overwhelming. I had a 3rd party source, deleted the old one and pasted this one. I have to rehire them to remove it! I'm so sad. I have 5 animals on it. Does this hurt them?!? What are these chemicals? Gives me a headache and nausea. I will call support but HAVE to write this review. I see others had the same issue, why didn't they fix this issue. I have a relatively small house, so the smell reaches every room! I don't know what to do. I can't sit and watch TV because the smell makes my eyes water! This rug is also very thin. It doesn't bother me that much since I throw out my carpets every 1-2 years because of the many animals I have. If you want a medium or thick rug, don't go for it. The thickness of this rug is like a thin towel.
