They work and sound good. Nothing special, but not bad for this price range. I have a problem with the boom mic size. Put simply, it's too short. Contrary to what some reviews claim, the headband is actually adjustable, although this feature might not be immediately obvious as the sliding mechanism is a bit tight. That's actually a good thing, as the headset tends to stay put for as long as it's been taken off. When the earcups are fully extended, they fit my head perfectly. Unfortunately, the microphone cannot be extended; it just spins. It is clearly designed for small heads and therefore the mic is always positioned VERY close to the mouth. The person I skyped with said the mic picks up noise from my headphones. To compensate, I turned the volume down on my headphones and placed a foam pop filter (sold separately) over the microphone. The foam sleeve helped a bit, but the boom mic is still too short and therefore always too close to the mouth. This review would probably get an additional star if it weren't for the ability to extend the mic for people with large heads like headphones. Although some parts of the headset are adjustable, the short, non-retractable microphone makes it better suited for children and people with small heads.
