It's not sticky or rough as one might think.
It was PERFECT for my center console. It took me a while to buy it thinking it would make my clothes or hand rough. Really very smooth! My car is a 2018 Mercedes CLA250. I wanted it to be tighter so I added more elastic at the bottom.
