I don't really like these clips. Basically, I use the largest of the three. There are two things I dislike about these clamps. If you are clamping 1-1/2 inch thick material, the jaws will not align properly when closed. Typically, when you clamp a seam in two pieces of wood next to each other, the clamp will not hold the joint flush. . I tried tucking in one side so the seam was flush. It works, but it's boring. You need more hands. On the other hand, the swiveling clamping feet that come into contact with the clamping material are not large enough. This error can also affect the smoothness of the seam you pinch. Other reviewers have said many positive things about it and I understand their point. I don't think they mentioned my two problems above. a little difficult to open when you press. Most reviewers seem to think they're good for the price. I'm just not sure. I will look for something else next time.
