After reading other reviews I was a little concerned about the poor mirror clarity. The first thing I did when opening the box was to check for imperfections and the one I received seems perfect, just as good as the original. It was a replacement driver's side mirror, so I'm not sure if others have had issues with the passenger's side mirror. Advice on removing the old mirror. I couldn't pry the mirror open with a large screwdriver (it felt like breaking the case). I took one of those 3m adhesive hooks and attached it to the mirror upside down so I could easily lift the mirror and have a look at it at the same time. The original mirror is really in there, so some patience is required in any case. A strong suction cup might have worked as well, but my mirror was cracked in several places.
