The base works VERY WELL with sanding blocks. I actually used contour grinders. Sandpaper also stays where it is needed. Sandpaper grit is slightly more aggressive for scoring. The 100 grit has a more aggressive feel than the standard 3M 100 grip. No course like 80 grit. Possibly 90 grit. Sandpaper tears easily. Add grit to grit and the grit separates very easily. This is also a problem and the reason for only 4 stars. If you send narrow corners, you need to fold them in half. The grain can be easily detached from the substrate. This sandpaper works very well except for tight creases.
