I first bought a Bauer key which code matched the buttons I had that didn't work so I returned it and got new ones Bought buttons for $5 more. Bauer grips have a smaller and flatter base than OEM so I have to paint around the new grips. And while they don't even come with a screw, let alone a new base plate, the original screws are too short to reach the smaller base and hold it together. The rods aren't even threaded to allow the use of a nut, so only a tiny set screw holds the latch and is easily pryed through with a screwdriver. However, a thief does not have to go all out because the locks themselves are more like a suitcase lock than a door lock. The good news is that I never have to worry about losing my key again because I can collect it in less than 3 seconds.
