I don't write many reviews but this tool is worth its weight in gold if you're doing exhaust or pipe work. YES it is made for exhaust, people who say it is not misunderstand how this very simple tool works and what it is for. TIP: It won't turn your 2" pipe into a 2.5" or 3" pipe. rzunimag. I mean think about it for a minute, the pipe would snap if it expanded that far .You MUST, MUST use the included lubricant if you plan on long life for this tool, otherwise it will be destroyed prematurely by heat, pressure and friction. It is not fragile in any way once you are familiar with how these tools work, and if you don't put a plug/expansion sleeve in the pipe you're expanding it obviously won't work properly.I use this on many,many exhaust systems.There has NEVER been a problem.If you're not sure how to use it see Check out some YouTube videos on the subject. Comes in a nice, sturdy case for easy storage. "Rubber bands" wear out sometimes. never mind. In such cases, I use ordinary household rubber bands. Anything the gu mmibands is to insert holes in the bushings of the stretching tool until there is sufficient pressure - the bushing must be inherently flexible. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to stretch very well. Most negative reviews about tools, especially ones like this tool, are user errors. If you need it, buy it. You will not regret it.
