It's very soft and still holding up very well, good stitching, I have it on my wooden floor and I play with my cat and a laser pointer on it to tell the time and it's holding up stood up well to slipping and launching. I have to vacuum about every other day, everyone walks on it with or without shoes and the cat litter's paws are always on it. Everything about this rug definitely gets tangled, you can't just shake it or brush it off, it needs a good vacuum and I've noticed our oils show off our feet and dirt in the fabric so it needs to be washed. soon i had it for about 2 months. But I am very happy with the product.
